Three Springs' Haydn Bussenschutt polled 34 votes to win the S J Stokes Medal for the Best and Fairest Player in 2003. In another close contest, Bussenschutt held on to win from team mates Bill McGree [33] and Nakia Taylor [29]. Haydn Bussenschutt has been a consistent performer throughout the season. He missed 1 home and away game during 2003 through a rolled ankle. Haydn's expertise as a Rover has become renowned throughout this League. This award is Haydn's second having previously taken it out in 2000.
