ROOS GO ON THE RAMPAGE
By
Lois Thomas
Carnamah/Perenjori
gave the Morawa Tigers a football lesson as they completely outclassed them in
all positions at Perenjori last Saturday.
With
Mark Bowman dominating the centre bounce downs, the Roos midfields were
completely dominant. Darren Whitehurst, Brendon Hauesler and Peter Machin pumped
the ball forward and the rest was elementary.
Morawa
will be looking to the end of the school holidays for some solid performances
from their young guns. Another 200 points plus loss will not do the young and
inexperienced team any favours in building up their confidence. With ten first
year League players aged 15-16 years and only a couple of these having played
Reserves prior to entering Morawa Ag, Coach Darren Agar will be looking to the
Year 12 students to stand up and be counted next week.
Zac
Valentine [full-back] remains in doubt through injury and Mark Coaker
[centre-half back] is out with glandular fever.
