Coorow/Latham showed they are going to be a force to be reckoned with in the opening match of the North Midlands Football League, held at Morawa on Saturday. Morawa commenced the day with eight debuting players with many ‘regular faces’ missing. To their credit, the Tigers worked hard all day but where outclassed by the likes of Gavin Kerr, Wes Morecombe and Mal Just. Final scores for the day saw Coorow/Latham 25-11 (161) Morawa 7-6 (48).
